Lady in White

I'm sorry for the lack of outfit posts this week. I've been so busy with class projects, etc that I hardly have any time to stop and snap some pictures. I hope my readers forgive me!

I've mentioned a lot of times how hard it is for me to want to dress up for winter--I just want to wear something cozy and stay in bed all day! But I am really making an effort of experimenting a little with my wardrobe this winter. And honestly, I shouldn't complain much, it's California after all--winters here are not as cold as in other places.

I bought this white coat last summer, but this is another piece that has been sitting in my closet not being used. Always felt a little shapeless in it, but I decided it was sad for it to be just hanging so I gave it a try. What do you think?

Let's make it bright

I want Spring to come now!!! I really can't wait--especially with this whole week of rain! For some reason it's so difficult for me to dress in winter, all I want to do is carry my blanket everywhere and drink some warm tea! But while Spring comes--I got to experiment with a couple of colors. Bright in Winter :)

I bought this coat last year--and this is the first time I bought it. I love the color, but I am always too hesitant to walk around in a bright blue long coat. This day I decided that  I would not only wear the blue coat, I would pair it up with my favorite mustard tights. And here are the results:

I just wanted to share some pictures that I took of a good friend of mine (accounting major buddy) Melissa, she's starting her own lookbook so check it out. I just love her style, and there's something beautiful and melancholic about these pictures.
