Good Day

Today has been a good day overall. I wish I could have rested quite a bit more but it was a productive day!! I went with my mom to help out her friend at work and met some nice people (and baby-sited two cute little kids!)
Then, mom and I went to little thrifting detour--in which of course I ended up buying some cute things.
I'm also super mega excited for a baby shower we are going to have this coming Saturday!! My new baby
niece--Camila--will be born soon!! Finally another girl in the family! My cousin made a diaper cake for the event, and mom and I are making some centerpieces. DIY stuff is the best, truly.

Baby showers and family reunions make me think about how my family is expanding, and how the ones who were the youngsters some years ago are now starting their own families. I wonder how it would be some years from now for me :o

But for now I'll try to keep my head in the present and think about the surprised expression of the mom-to-be at the baby shower! Oh I love surprises!! I will most def post some pictures of that :)
